Chief of Staff

About This Opportunity

We are representing a rapidly growing global SaaS organization in their search for a Chief of Staff to the CEO based in Paris - La Défense. Our client is transforming how legal and governance functions operate worldwide through innovative technology solutions.

This is a high-impact role designed for an early-career, high-potential professional who is structured, analytical, and hands-on. You will work directly with the CEO and senior leadership, helping to translate strategic priorities into action, improve execution, and ensure critical initiatives receive appropriate attention and follow-up.

The ideal candidate will have an engineering or technical background, or a strong affinity for technology, and will be comfortable working with data, complex business topics, and multiple stakeholders. This role offers exceptional exposure to executive decision-making and broad organizational strategy.

Responsibilities

• Support the CEO in preparing strategic analyses, recommendations, presentations, and decision-making materials
• Coordinate important cross-functional projects from planning through execution, ensuring clear objectives, ownership, timelines, and next steps
• Track company priorities, deadlines, risks, dependencies, and key decisions, escalating issues when appropriate
• Analyze business data and prepare dashboards, management reports, and concise executive-level updates
• Prepare leadership meetings, structure agendas, document decisions, follow up on actions, and ensure accountability
• Work closely with teams across the organization to improve execution, information flow, and alignment around strategic priorities
• Synthesize complex technical and business topics into clear, actionable recommendations for senior stakeholders

What We're Looking For

Experience and Background:

• Approximately 2–5 years of experience in technology, consulting, engineering, operations, product, or project management
• Engineering or technical background, or demonstrated affinity for technology
• Experience in SaaS or technology-driven business environments is highly valued

Core Competencies:

• Structured and analytical approach with ability to break down complex topics and identify practical solutions
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in parallel
• Proactive, reliable, hands-on mindset with strong sense of ownership
• Discretion and maturity required to work closely with CEO and senior stakeholders
• Ability to work independently while knowing when to seek input or escalate issues
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with confidence presenting to senior audiences
• Ability to build effective working relationships across all organizational levels

Technical Skills:

• Strong proficiency with spreadsheets and business data analysis
• Familiar with AI tools and their business applications
• Ability to build or maintain dashboards, management reports, and performance tracking tools
• Comfortable working with business metrics, KPIs, and operational reporting
• Experience coordinating projects, action plans, deadlines, and cross-functional dependencies
• Ability to prepare clear presentations and executive-level documentation
• Comfortable understanding technical concepts and collaborating with technology, product, or engineering teams

Languages:

• Fluent in French and English (required)
• German, Italian, or Spanish would be a strong advantage
