About This Opportunity
We are representing a well-established construction company based in Regensburg, Germany. Our client seeks a business administration student for a practical semester (Praxissemester) focusing on controlling and accounting within their finance operations.
This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic construction industry environment, applying your academic knowledge to real-world financial processes and project controlling.
Responsibilities
Controlling:
- Processing payment reminders and invoice inquiries
- Contributing to project controlling activities
- Supporting cost analysis initiatives
Accounting:
- Reviewing and recording incoming and outgoing invoices
- Supporting accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
- Managing payment reminders and invoice-related queries
General Commercial Tasks:
- Creating statistics and reports
- Maintaining master data
- Participating in business process optimization projects
What We're Looking For
- Currently enrolled in a BWL (Business Administration) degree program with focus on controlling and accounting
- Foundational knowledge in financial accounting and cost accounting
- Very strong MS Office skills, particularly Excel
- High affinity for numbers and meticulous work approach
- Analytical and structured working style
- Team-oriented yet capable of working independently
- Strong sense of responsibility and attention to detail
- Motivated and engaged attitude
