Financial Controlling Analyst (m/w/d)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential industrial organization seeking a Financial Controlling Analyst for their Bensheim location. In this central role, you will contribute to reporting, planning, and financial analysis activities.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports in accordance with HGB/IFRS standards
• Analyzing financial data including plausibility and data quality checks
• Developing and automating reporting processes to improve efficiency
• Creating ad-hoc analyses and profitability calculations
• Conducting budget-versus-actual comparisons and deriving actionable recommendations
• Supporting budget planning and forecasting processes
• Preparing key performance indicators and management presentations
• Identifying optimization potential in processes and tools
• Collaborating closely with EMEA teams and shared service centers
• Participating in national and international projects
• Serving as a point of contact for controlling-related questions
• Ensuring compliance with company-wide guidelines and standards

What We're Looking For

Education & Experience:

• Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Controlling, or a comparable field
• Alternatively, commercial apprenticeship with relevant further training
• Ideally 1–3 years of professional experience in controlling

Skills & Competencies:

• Strong analytical abilities and affinity for numbers
• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and Power BI, plus experience with SAP
• Solid understanding of accounting and controlling processes
• Ability to analyze and interpret large datasets
• Structured working approach with high accuracy and attention to detail
• Strong problem-solving skills and initiative
• Excellent time management capabilities
• Fluent German and English language skills
