Senior Industrial Project Manager

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential industrial consulting organization seeking a Senior Industrial Project Manager to lead complex manufacturing transformation initiatives. In this role, you will be responsible for steering and executing challenging industrial projects from concept through to operational reality.

Your core responsibilities include:

• Leading the successful industrialization of greenfield and brownfield production facilities
• Designing and implementing high-performance production systems
• Managing ramp-up processes through to successful handover
• Building and leading cross-functional project organizations
• Directing interdisciplinary teams across production, procurement, logistics, and engineering functions
• Coaching project team members to deliver results
• Ensuring factory concepts are successfully translated into functioning production reality
• Maintaining active on-site presence during critical project phases, including national and international travel

What We're Looking For

Our client needs someone who combines strategic thinking with operational execution strength. The ideal candidate will have:

• Completed degree in Engineering, Economics, or Business Administration
• Proven hands-on production experience, ideally in leadership or management roles
• Demonstrated success delivering complex capital investment projects
• Strong process understanding with analytical and conceptual capabilities
• Intercultural sensitivity with a solution-oriented communication style
• Fluency in both German and English
• Motivation to work on CAPEX projects and factory-level transformations
• Entrepreneurial mindset focused on growth and results

This role is based in Hamburg and involves regular travel to project sites where industrial transformation takes place.
