About This Opportunity
Our talent team is representing a confidential electric mobility organization operating across multiple European markets. We are seeking a Product Manager to join their Ecosystem Solutions team in Berlin, where you will shape the future of electric vehicle charging infrastructure and deliver seamless experiences for drivers across public charging networks.
In this role, you will own the development of ecosystem services and integrations, ensuring that the charging journey—from plug-in to payment—works flawlessly for end users. You will bridge internal teams, markets, and external partners to build a powerful ecosystem that drives customer satisfaction, operational excellence, and sustainable growth.
Responsibilities
- Develop and evolve core components, services, and integrations of the charging ecosystem, ensuring measurable value for drivers and the business
- Manage the budget for development and design initiatives within your product area
- Oversee API and system integrations with internal teams and external partners to deliver a seamless customer journey
- Collaborate closely with software, hardware, operations, and commercial teams to create a best-in-class charging experience
- Proactively identify customer needs, operational challenges, and market opportunities, translating them into product improvements and initiatives
- Prioritize requirements based on customer value, business impact, and strategic relevance in a complex stakeholder environment
- Translate customer, business, and technical requirements into clear user stories and actionable product specifications
- Support iterative product development and pilot projects, enabling local markets through appropriate tools, documentation, and processes
- Work closely with engineers to refine requirements, make decisions, and find pragmatic solutions
- Own quality standards for your product area and continuously optimize how products are developed, delivered, and operated
- Facilitate Scrum processes within the development team and coordinate work packages with internal stakeholders
- Develop and validate new UI/UX concepts directly in applications using modern AI tools like GitHub Copilot before technical implementation
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Technical Product Manager or similar role, ideally in electric mobility, energy, IoT, or hardware-software ecosystems
- Technical understanding beyond standard reporting and spreadsheet tools; comfortable working with APIs, dashboards, and low-code/no-code platforms without writing production code
- Confident use of AI-powered tools such as GitHub Copilot in daily work
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to bridge technical and non-technical audiences
- Deep customer orientation and commercial understanding, able to make product decisions from both user and business perspectives
- Analytical and data-driven approach combined with high standards for quality and user experience
- Proven track record of identifying opportunities, developing solutions, and independently driving projects from concept to implementation
- Enthusiasm for complex service and platform environments with multiple internal and external stakeholders
- Pragmatic, collaborative, and adaptable personality
- English proficiency at C1 level; German language skills are advantageous
