About This Opportunity
Our talent team at Get A Job.ai is representing a confidential AI technology company seeking a Software Engineer, Data Infrastructure & Acquisition to join their distributed team. This is a fully remote position based in Munich, Germany.
Our client operates at the intersection of artificial intelligence and large-scale data engineering, building petabyte-scale datasets to power next-generation AI models. You'll be joining a data-focused engineering team responsible for the full lifecycle of data acquisition and processing infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Identify and integrate new sources of audio data into existing ingestion pipelines
- Operate and extend cloud infrastructure for data ingestion, running on GCP and managed with Terraform
- Collaborate with research scientists to optimize the cost, throughput, and quality of data delivery at scale
- Partner with AI team leadership to develop dataset roadmaps that support product development
- Build and maintain large-scale data processing workflows
What We're Looking For
- BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science or related field
- 5+ years of industry experience in software development
- Strong proficiency with bash and Python scripting in Linux environments
- Professional experience with Docker and Infrastructure-as-Code concepts
- Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud provider (GCP preferred)
- Experience with web crawlers and large-scale data processing workflows is a plus
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
