National Account Manager – GWW – US

About This Opportunity

Our talent team is representing a confidential hospitality distribution organization in their search for a National Account Manager focused on growing strategic partnerships nationwide. This role offers the opportunity to drive revenue growth, manage complex customer relationships, and lead innovative product programs within the hospitality sector.

This is a remote position based in the United States with travel up to 25% for client meetings, presentations, and industry events.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary relationship owner for assigned national accounts, maintaining daily contact through face-to-face meetings and virtual communication
• Manage escalations and critical customer situations independently, developing resolution strategies and executing solutions
• Collaborate with account teams to maintain quarterly pricing, generate quotes, manage supplier contracts, and oversee brand-specific programs
• Develop and execute annual business plans aligned with corporate objectives and customer goals
• Identify and present new brand programs and product innovations to drive sales growth
• Develop sales strategies to capture zero-spend accounts and new hotel openings
• Lead program rollouts, manage project implementations, and coordinate responses to customer RFPs
• Ensure compliance with brand standards across all customer-facing documentation and templates
• Drive continuous improvement through category management, cost reduction initiatives, and best practice implementation
• Partner with corporate accounts and field sales teams to maximize customer penetration and group business opportunities

What We're Looking For

Required Experience & Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, or Marketing
• 5-8 years of related work experience in account management or sales management
• Proven track record managing complex customer relationships and driving revenue growth
• Hospitality or related market experience strongly preferred

• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with ability to present effectively to diverse audiences including suppliers, customers, and executive management
• Strong leadership capabilities including mentoring, team development, and collaborative management style
• Advanced organizational and project management skills with ability to manage multiple complex initiatives simultaneously
• Excellent negotiation, listening, and presentation abilities
• Strong problem-solving skills with sound judgment and ability to make timely decisions
• Solid understanding of financial concepts including pricing strategies and forecasting
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook)
• Experience with business analytics and CRM platforms preferred
• Valid driver's license and current automobile insurance required

Pay

The compensation range for this position is $88,500 - $132,700 annually, determined by your specific skills, years of experience, and other relevant factors. Our client also offers a comprehensive benefits package.
