The Opportunity

Join Deltagroup's San Jose office as a Full-Time Private Investigator. You'll conduct investigations across a variety of case types, working independently and with team members to uncover facts, interview subjects, and produce detailed reports that support legal proceedings, corporate matters, and personal cases.

Responsibilities

• Conduct field investigations, surveillance operations, and background checks with accuracy and attention to detail
• Interview witnesses, subjects, and sources to gather relevant information and evidence
• Research public records, databases, and other resources to support investigation objectives
• Document findings thoroughly and prepare professional investigative reports
• Maintain detailed case files and ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
• Collaborate with attorneys, corporate clients, and team members to meet case objectives

Who We're Looking For

• Valid Private Investigator license or eligibility to obtain one in California
• Strong investigative skills with proven experience in field work, interviews, and research methods
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently and manage multiple cases
• Clear written and verbal communication skills with ability to document findings professionally
• Reliable transportation and willingness to work flexible hours as case demands require
• Working knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards in private investigation
