Full Stack Engineer – Cloud & SaaS Integrations

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential cloud technology organization seeking a Full Stack Engineer to join their R&D team. This is a remote opportunity available to candidates in the UK, Ireland, Estonia, the Netherlands, Sweden, and Israel, with contractor positions also available in Eastern Europe and Portugal.

Our client operates at the intersection of cloud infrastructure and SaaS spend visibility. As organizations expand beyond traditional cloud providers into diverse SaaS platforms, data clouds, and AI vendors, the need for seamless integrations has never been greater. You'll be building the framework that makes connecting these vendors effortless and maintaining those connections friction-free.

Responsibilities

• Design and ship integrations against third-party billing and usage APIs, handling authentication, incremental sync, rate limits, error handling, and schema drift
• Develop the Integrations Framework itself, including testing harnesses and scaffolding, so that each successive integration requires significantly less effort
• Work AI-augmented from day one across your entire workflow—exploring codebases and third-party APIs, prototyping, generating and reviewing code, debugging, writing tests, and producing documentation
• Build integration management interfaces that customers use to connect, configure, and trust their integrations, including health visibility, actionable error states, credential rotation, and clear feedback
• Enable self-service capabilities for backfills, reconnects, and diagnostics that customers and internal teams can run independently
• Implement API-first capabilities so features are fully accessible through APIs, not just UI, enabling both human and agent-driven platform interactions
• Own features end-to-end from proposal through specification, implementation, and ongoing maintenance

What We're Looking For

Required qualifications:

• 3+ years of professional software engineering experience shipping and owning production features
• Strong TypeScript skills, including modern frontend work—React preferred
• Hands-on experience with Go, or strong backend experience in another language (Python, Java, Node.js, C#) with genuine enthusiasm for ramping up in Go quickly
• Real experience designing and consuming REST APIs and integrating third-party APIs, including auth flows, pagination, rate limits, partial failures, and breaking changes
• Full-stack comfort—you may lean backend or frontend, but can own a feature from database to interface
• Working proficiency in SQL
• Experience developing solutions in the cloud and/or using cloud services (GCP, AWS, or Azure)
• User-facing instinct for operational tooling—you care whether error messages actually tell someone what to do next
• AI-augmented working style—you already use AI tools across your engineering workflow and can discuss concrete results
• Strong knowledge of software engineering practices, design patterns, and architectural principles
• Demonstrated passion for creating high-quality web/SaaS applications
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Self-organized, goal-oriented, and self-motivated approach

Bonus qualifications:

• Experience building integration platforms or extensibility frameworks as a core product component
• Experience with cloud or SaaS billing data—cost and usage exports, AI vendor billing data, marketplace billing, or the FOCUS specification
• Experience with Google BigQuery or data pipelines and orchestration tooling (Dagster, Airflow)
• Experience building AI-powered product features (LLM integration, intelligent automation)
• Exposure to FinOps practices or cloud financial management products
• BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience
