Senior Full-Stack Engineer – AI Cost Visibility

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential cloud technology organization seeking a Senior Full-Stack Engineer to own their AI cost visibility product. This is a remote position available across EMEA, including the UK, Ireland, Estonia, the Netherlands, Sweden, and Israel, with contractor opportunities in Eastern Europe and Portugal.

Our client is building a product that solves one of the fastest-growing challenges in cloud infrastructure: AI spend visibility. Model APIs, managed inference, GPUs, and agentic coding tools each report costs differently, leaving teams unable to answer fundamental questions about what they're spending, on which workloads, for which teams, and whether it delivers value. You'll own this product end-to-end, shaping how it works rather than simply implementing specifications.

Responsibilities

• Own features end-to-end from understanding customer pain through design, implementation, release, monitoring, and iteration. You define what done looks like and own the outcome including reliability, user experience, and measurable impact.
• Develop deep product and domain knowledge of AI spend mechanics, including token and model pricing, inference and GPU economics, and how usage rolls up to teams and initiatives. Understand how FinOps practitioners reason about these challenges.
• Work AI-augmented daily across your full workflow: exploring codebases and vendor APIs, prototyping approaches, generating and reviewing code, debugging, writing tests, and producing documentation. Push boundaries on what agentic tooling can accomplish while maintaining quality standards.
• Design, build, and scale backend services in Go and product experiences in TypeScript and React. Transform large volumes of cost and usage data into interfaces that make answers obvious, clear, fast, and trustworthy enough for financial decisions.
• Build capabilities API-first so they're fully available through APIs, not just the UI, enabling both humans and agents to drive the platform.
• Set the standard for the team through thoughtful design reviews, guard-rails that enable customer success, and engineering practices that enable velocity without breaking trust. Mentor peers and share learnings.

What We're Looking For

• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience, including multi-tenant SaaS products, with a track record of owning features or products end-to-end in production
• Strong Go experience for backend services including APIs, data processing, and operational realities of running them in production
• Strong TypeScript and modern React skills with an eye for effective data presentation
• Full-stack comfort: you may lean backend or frontend, but can own a feature from data model through to interface
• Experience building on public cloud platforms (GCP preferred; AWS or Azure acceptable) and working proficiency in SQL against analytical stores such as BigQuery
• Product-oriented thinking: you care equally about why you're building something and whether it works for users as you do about how it's built
• AI-augmented working style: you already use AI tools across your engineering workflow and can discuss concretely what you've gained from them and where they've fallen short
• Strong knowledge of software engineering practices, design patterns, and architectural principles, with ability to set direction for others
• Comfort with ambiguity in fast-moving markets: you can identify the right problem to solve, not just the right solution
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Self-organized, goal-oriented, self-motivated, confident, thorough, and tenacious approach

Bonus qualifications:

• Knowledge of FinOps and FinOps products
• BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience
• Portfolio demonstrating what you've built throughout your career
