Physical Therapist – Outpatient Float Pool

Promedica is seeking a full-time Physical Therapist for our Outpatient Float Pool in Toledo, offering flexibility across our network of rehabilitation clinics and therapy centers while delivering direct patient care and making a meaningful difference in your community.

About This Position

As a Physical Therapist in our Outpatient Float Pool, you'll rotate across Promedica's outpatient therapy locations throughout Toledo, providing continuity and expertise where needed most. This full-time position combines clinical autonomy with the flexibility of a float model, allowing you to develop relationships with diverse patient populations while growing your experience across multiple settings and specializations.

Core Duties

• Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations, movement assessments, and functional ability testing to inform treatment planning
• Design and implement individualized physical therapy treatment protocols tailored to each patient's diagnosis, goals, and functional level
• Deliver hands-on therapy interventions including manual techniques, therapeutic exercise, modalities, and functional training
• Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans based on clinical outcomes and patient response
• Communicate effectively with referring physicians, interdisciplinary care teams, and patients regarding treatment status and recommendations
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure compliance with regulatory and billing standards
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs, proper body mechanics, and injury prevention strategies

What You Bring

• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in Ohio
• Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited physical therapy program
• Strong clinical knowledge of orthopedic, neurological, and general outpatient rehabilitation principles
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with patients of all ages and backgrounds
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team-based care model
• Proficiency with electronic health record systems
