Senior Product Designer

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential legal technology organization in their search for a Senior Product Designer to create exceptional user experiences for their platform serving legal professionals. This remote role, based in the United States, offers the opportunity to design intuitive solutions that address complex operational challenges in the legal industry.

Responsibilities

• Lead the complete design process from concept through implementation, including user research, wireframing, prototyping, visual design, and design specifications
• Apply user-centered design principles to create solutions that are intuitive, accessible, and aligned with both user needs and business objectives
• Contribute to and maintain the organization's design system, ensuring consistency and scalability across the platform
• Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, researchers, and stakeholders to define requirements, iterate on solutions, and ensure successful implementation
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior designers, review design work, and help establish best practices within the design team
• Participate in and occasionally lead user research activities to validate design decisions and gather insights for future improvements
• Analyze user feedback and product metrics to identify opportunities for enhancing existing features and experiences

What We're Looking For

• Experience: 5+ years of product design experience, preferably in SaaS, enterprise software, or legal technology
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or related field; equivalent professional experience will be considered
• Portfolio: Strong portfolio demonstrating UX/UI design skills, problem-solving abilities, and experience designing complex workflows
• Technical Skills: Proficiency with design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, and Adobe Creative Suite; understanding of design systems and familiarity with front-end development principles
• Communication: Excellent communication and presentation abilities, strong collaboration skills, and the capacity to give and receive constructive feedback
• Domain Knowledge: Experience designing for professional users and complex workflows; familiarity with legal processes is a strong plus
• Location: Preference for candidates who reside in EST timezone to support cross-functional team collaboration

Pay

This is a full-time position. The client's compensation range for this role is $150,000 - $175,000 base salary, plus benefits including medical, dental, vision insurance, paid time off, parental leave, and short and long-term disability coverage. Final compensation will be determined based on location, qualifications, education, work experience, and skills.
