About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential biotechnology organization in the Entzheim area that is advancing personalized medicine in oncology. Our talent team is seeking an Engineering Intern to support innovative diagnostic development work focused on radiation therapy optimization for cancer patients.

This internship offers hands-on laboratory experience within a small, collaborative scientific team working on cutting-edge molecular biology projects with direct clinical applications.

Responsibilities

• Develop and validate RT-qPCR-based assays to measure tumor radiosensitivity, initially using commercial tumor cell lines and subsequently patient sample cohorts
• Perform cell culture, nucleic acid extraction and amplification, and analyze molecular mechanisms involved in tumor radiosensitivity
• Maintain rigorous documentation of experimental results and protocols
• Analyze data and contribute to scientific reports and technical summaries
• Support the optimization of innovative diagnostic tests to facilitate patient care pathways
• Work under the supervision of the Laboratory Director to develop technical skills and scientific autonomy

What We're Looking For

• Currently pursuing a Master's degree (Bac+5 level) or Engineering diploma in Biology, Oncology, Biotechnology, or related field
• Seeking an internship placement to fulfill degree requirements
• Strong theoretical and practical foundation in molecular biology techniques, particularly RT-qPCR and nucleic acid extraction
• Hands-on experience with cell culture techniques
• Scientific rigor and methodical approach to laboratory work
• Enthusiasm, curiosity, and team-oriented mindset
• Ability to work independently while contributing to collaborative projects
• French language proficiency required for this role based in the Grand Est region
