Project Manager (RPA & AI Delivery) India Remote

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential digital transformation consultancy with a strong global presence. They are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of automation and intelligent process solutions for international clients. This is a remote role based in India, reporting to the PMO leadership team.

The ideal candidate will bring 4-6 years of IT project management experience with exposure to automation technologies, enterprise application implementations, and digital transformation initiatives. You'll coordinate cross-functional delivery teams while maintaining governance standards and client satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Manage complete project lifecycle from initiation through closure for automation and AI-driven transformation projects
• Prepare comprehensive project plans, schedules, milestones, and delivery roadmaps aligned with client objectives
• Serve as primary point of contact for customers during project execution, conducting kick-offs, status meetings, and executive presentations
• Coordinate cross-functional teams including solution architects, developers, business analysts, and QA resources
• Monitor project progress, proactively resolve delivery risks, and ensure on-time, on-budget delivery within agreed quality standards
• Prepare weekly status reports, executive dashboards, project health reports, and maintain RAID logs
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives where applicable
• Coordinate User Acceptance Testing, production deployments, and hypercare support activities
• Plan and allocate project resources effectively while monitoring budgets, effort utilization, and financial performance
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and ensure adherence to quality standards and delivery best practices

What We're Looking For

Required Experience:

• 4-6 years of IT project management experience managing software implementation or digital transformation initiatives
• Proven track record of end-to-end project delivery including planning, execution, and closure
• Experience working with global customers and managing stakeholder expectations
• Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and both Agile and Waterfall methodologies
• Exposure to PMO governance frameworks and reporting practices
• Experience managing multiple concurrent projects with competing priorities

Technical Knowledge:

• Good understanding of RPA project lifecycles and business process automation concepts
• Exposure to AI, Generative AI, or Intelligent Automation projects is highly valued
• Basic familiarity with APIs, SQL, cloud platforms, and enterprise applications
• Experience with automation platforms such as UiPath, Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism, or Microsoft Power Automate is a strong advantage

Tools & Systems:

• Experience with project management tools (Microsoft Project, Jira, Azure DevOps, ClickUp, Monday.com, Trello, or Asana)
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams, and SharePoint

Education & Certifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field required
• Master's degree (MBA or equivalent) preferred
• Preferred certifications: PMP, PRINCE2, Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM), PMI-ACP, or Agile certifications
