Sales Assist Representative

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential SaaS organization in their search for a Sales Assist Representative based in India. Our client operates a high-velocity sales motion serving customers through live chat and video demonstrations as they evaluate and purchase automation software solutions.

This role requires working hours approximately 9:00 PM - 7:00 AM IST to serve international markets. You'll spend significant time in live chat queues (4+ hours daily), conducting virtual product demonstrations, and managing a pipeline of product-qualified leads across multiple channels.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers primarily through live chat (Zendesk), with additional outreach via calls and emails
• Lead virtual demonstrations showcasing technical automation use-cases and ROI opportunities for business teams
• Qualify leads for handoff to other sales teams while also converting customers directly
• Create and manage sales pipeline across live chat queues and product-qualified lead channels
• Maintain feedback loops by documenting customer insights, product improvement opportunities, and sales process optimizations
• Collaborate with cross-functional steering committees and senior stakeholders
• Drive influenced revenue metrics through qualified lead generation

What We're Looking For

• Located in India with availability to work 9:00 PM - 7:00 AM IST
• 4+ years of experience as a solutions engineer, technical account manager transitioning to sales, or technical quota-carrying salesperson in a SaaS environment
• Experience with product-led companies operating both self-serve and sales go-to-market motions
• Exposure to international markets and cross-cultural communication
• Comfortable working high-velocity sales queues for extended periods
• Strong technical aptitude with ability to discuss API offerings and build technical solutions
• Advanced working English comprehension with excellent written communication skills
• Self-managing with high agency to manage calendar, pipeline, and quotas independently
• Active AI user who regularly experiments with AI tools to drive efficiency in daily work
• Ability to demonstrate workflows built with AI, showing iteration, impact on quality and efficiency, and intentional application of AI tools
• Experimental mindset with capability to rapidly test ideas and contribute to multiple sales projects
