Program Representative – Enterprise Portfolio Management

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential defense manufacturing organization currently experiencing significant growth in production volume. Our client is establishing a comprehensive Enterprise Portfolio Management Office to provide governance and strategic oversight for their integrated enterprise plan. This new office will enable data-driven decision-making and ensure alignment across all major initiatives.

As a Program Representative within this newly formed office, you will play a critical role in supporting portfolio governance, tracking strategic initiatives, and facilitating communication across multiple stakeholders. This position is based in Groton, Connecticut.

Responsibilities

• Support the Enterprise Portfolio Management Office in establishing governance frameworks and processes
• Coordinate and track enterprise-level initiatives and programs across the organization
• Prepare reports, presentations, and dashboards for senior leadership review
• Facilitate communication between project teams and executive stakeholders
• Maintain program documentation and ensure compliance with established standards
• Assist in developing metrics and key performance indicators for portfolio health
• Support strategic planning activities and resource allocation decisions
• Participate in governance meetings and capture action items and decisions

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Project Management, or related field
• Experience in program management, portfolio management, or strategic planning roles
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and senior leadership
• Experience in manufacturing, engineering, or defense environments is highly desirable
• Knowledge of project management methodologies and governance frameworks
• U.S. citizenship may be required for this position
