About This Opportunity
We are representing a confidential public charter school organization in Washington, D.C. that serves thousands of students across multiple campuses. As their alumni community continues to grow, our client is investing in dedicated support services to ensure graduates remain connected and successful beyond graduation.
This is a newly prioritized role focused on building and managing programs that keep alumni engaged, supported, and thriving in their post-secondary journeys.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement retention programs that support alumni through college, career training, and early professional transitions
- Build systems to track alumni progress, engagement, and outcomes across multiple graduating cohorts
- Develop communication strategies to maintain ongoing relationships with graduates
- Connect alumni with resources including mentorship, tutoring, financial literacy support, and career guidance
- Collaborate with campus teams to ensure seamless transitions from high school to post-secondary pathways
- Organize events, workshops, and networking opportunities for the alumni community
- Analyze data to identify trends, needs, and opportunities for program improvement
- Partner with external organizations to expand support services available to alumni
What We're Looking For
- Strong commitment to educational equity and supporting students from underserved communities
- Experience in alumni relations, student support services, college counseling, or youth development programs
- Excellent relationship-building skills with the ability to connect authentically with young adults
- Data-driven mindset with experience tracking outcomes and using insights to inform program decisions
- Project management capabilities and ability to launch new initiatives independently
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with CRM systems, databases, or alumni management platforms preferred
- Bachelor's degree required; experience working in education or nonprofit settings strongly preferred
- Must be based in or willing to relocate to Washington, D.C.
