Werkstudent (all genders) Data Engineering

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential hospitality organization in Frankfurt am Main seeking a working student in Data Engineering. In this role, you will:

• Independently integrate new datasets into the data analytics architecture and migrate them into existing structures
• Communicate with stakeholders across different departments to understand data sources, meanings, and key requirements
• Clean, model, and test data pipelines while documenting transformations clearly
• Develop pipelines and analyses using Python and SQL (DuckDB), utilizing AI assistance where appropriate while maintaining full understanding of results
• Present and explain your solutions to the team and take ownership of your code

• Strong willingness to learn and motivation to quickly absorb new topics
• Readiness to take on responsibility early and drive tasks independently
• Foundational understanding of programming logic from studies, courses, or personal projects—you don't need to be a perfect programmer
• Analytical thinking and aspiration to not only develop data but help shape its impact on business decisions
• Ability to validate AI-generated output, make manual improvements when needed, and explain solutions in your own words
• Eligible to work as a student in Germany

Contract Details

This is a fixed-term working student position for 6 months with potential for extension, based in Frankfurt am Main, Hessen. Compensation details will be discussed during the screening process.
