About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential payments technology organization seeking experienced Field Sales Consultants to operate on a self-employed basis throughout the United Kingdom. Our talent team is building a network of independent sales professionals who can bring merchant services expertise and a track record of closing deals in the payments sector.

This is a commission-based, self-employed role offering uncapped earning potential through upfront payments, volume-based bonuses, and long-term residual income streams. Our client supports small and medium-sized enterprises with payment processing solutions, offering modern terminal hardware, same-day activation, and integrated business banking capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Identify and prospect UK small and medium-sized businesses requiring payment processing solutions
• Conduct consultative sales conversations to understand merchant needs and present appropriate payment solutions
• Close new merchant accounts and ensure smooth onboarding and activation
• Self-generate leads through networking, referrals, and business development activities
• Build and maintain a portfolio of merchant relationships to maximize residual income opportunities
• Participate in ongoing training and collaborate with regional sales managers and peer networks

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience in merchant services or payment processing sales
• Demonstrated consultative selling approach with strong closing skills
• Self-motivated with the ability to generate and manage your own pipeline
• Comfortable operating as a self-employed consultant with flexible working arrangements
• Excellent communication and relationship-building capabilities
• UK-based with the ability to conduct field sales activities in your territory
