Field Sales & Training Executive (CDD) — Sephora France

About This Opportunity

Our talent team is representing a fast-growing clean beauty brand in their expansion across France. This is a field-based commercial role supporting a major European beauty retailer in Paris. You'll be responsible for driving sales performance, training retail teams, and managing the in-store brand presence across multiple locations.

This is a 6-month fixed-term contract (CDD) starting in October, with potential for renewal and progression to a permanent position based on performance. You'll be part of the founding field team as our client builds their retail presence across Europe.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales growth and meet monthly and quarterly targets across your assigned store portfolio
• Work alongside retail beauty advisors to improve conversion rates and average basket size
• Negotiate and organize brand activation events: sales challenges, beauty hub takeovers, and in-store animation days
• Train retail beauty teams on product knowledge, skincare routines, and brand storytelling—from quick in-store briefings to comprehensive breakfast sessions
• Coach teams on sales techniques, routine building, and cross-selling strategies
• Lead product launch training to ensure retail staff feel confident promoting new releases
• Represent the brand in-store and manage relationships with store managers and beauty teams
• Maintain impeccable merchandising standards, ensure testers are stocked, and monitor inventory levels during each visit
• Provide weekly field reports covering store-level sales, merchandising status, and tester photography
• Report competitive activity and customer insights to inform commercial decisions
• Travel up to 20% of your time for store visits and brand events (accommodation, transport, and meal allowances covered)

What We're Looking For

• 2–5 years of experience in prestige cosmetics sales and training, or experienced beauty advisor looking to advance; experience with the retail partner is highly valued
• Proven track record of driving sales in a retail environment
• Comfortable delivering training sessions, hosting in-store events, and conducting product demonstrations in front of field teams
• Strong commercial acumen and customer orientation with excellent relationship and communication skills
• Highly autonomous and organized—you'll manage your store portfolio and reporting independently
• Passionate about skincare with genuine field energy; knowledge of Korean beauty is a strong plus
• Fluent French and professional English
• Based in Paris with the right to work in France
• Available to work full-time, 5 days per week including weekends (schedule confirmed upon hire, with seasonal adjustments agreed mutually)
