Senior Business Operations Manager (m/w/d)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential food-delivery organization based in Berlin. As Senior Business Operations Manager, you will ensure that strategic initiatives move from analysis to execution. You'll structure complex challenges, improve processes, and lead cross-functional projects from concept through to measurable results.

Your core responsibilities include:

• Identifying operational and commercial improvement opportunities and implementing them with relevant teams
• Analyzing performance data, developing clear recommendations, and translating them into concrete actions
• Taking ownership of cross-departmental projects from goal definition through execution
• Improving processes, structures, and responsibilities while ensuring solutions are sustainable
• Coordinating stakeholders, removing blockers, and keeping critical initiatives on track
• Supporting the launch and development of new products, brands, locations, and markets
• Recognizing opportunities for automation, AI, and new tools and driving their pragmatic implementation
• Helping scale the organization efficiently as it grows

You will collaborate closely with leadership and colleagues across strategy, operations, finance, supply chain, product, and technology functions.

What We're Looking For

Our client seeks someone who can think strategically but has a strong drive to execute personally:

• Several years of experience in a startup, business operations, strategy, consulting, or commercial role
• Proven track record of structuring complex topics and independently leading projects through to implementation
• Strong analytical and entrepreneurial thinking with solid understanding of operational dynamics
• High initiative, strong ownership mentality, and consistent follow-through
• Ability to coordinate diverse teams and deliver results without formal authority
• Proficiency with data, spreadsheets, dashboards, presentations, and business tools
• Fluent German and professional English required
• Experience in food, delivery, quick-service restaurants, retail, hospitality, or fast-growing startups is helpful but not mandatory
