Senior Product Manager – Core Engine (m/w/d)

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential software organization based in Germany that is building decision-intelligence technology for complex operational workflows. Our talent team is seeking a Senior Product Manager to own the core engine product lifecycle—from initial discovery through product-market fit and beyond. This is a high-impact role for someone who has successfully built and scaled products in a fast-moving, data-driven B2B environment.

You will bridge market needs, customer insights, and technical execution, working cross-functionally with engineering, data science, sales, and executive leadership. If you have a proven track record taking products from zero to PMF in a startup setting, this role is for you.

Responsibilities

• Lead product strategy aligned with business goals and translate vision into actionable roadmaps
• Drive the product from problem-fit through solution-fit to product-market fit using lean, hypothesis-driven, iterative methods
• Define MVPs, rapidly test assumptions, shorten time-to-value, and continuously deliver features that solve real user problems
• Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and customer interviews (e.g., Jobs-to-Be-Done) to identify growth opportunities
• Translate complex data requirements into intuitive product features and collaborate with engineering and data science teams
• Use prioritization frameworks (WSJF, RICE) to maximize impact per release
• Maintain clear, realistic roadmaps and ensure stakeholder alignment through transparent communication, demos, and ROI updates
• Track and analyze key lifecycle KPIs including conversion, adoption, churn, NPS, MRR/ARR, CAC, and feature ROI
• Support go-to-market efforts including product positioning, pricing, and messaging in partnership with sales and marketing
• Steer lightweight prototypes and demos in early phases, assess technical feasibility, and evaluate implementation trade-offs

What We're Looking For

• Minimum 4 years of product management experience, ideally in a technology- or data-driven B2B startup environment
• Proven track record steering a product from zero through MVP to scale (preferably in SaaS, AI, or PropTech contexts)
• Strong knowledge of product discovery, agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban), and user story creation
• Hands-on experience with Jira, Figma, Notion, SQL, BI tools, and A/B testing
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking: deep understanding of product analytics, business value drivers, and prioritization frameworks (WSJF, RICE)
• Ability to make clear decisions under uncertainty and execute strategic pivots when needed
• Solid understanding of software development workflows and architecture; able to communicate effectively with engineering and data science teams
• Hands-on mindset: ability to create rapid functional prototypes using no-code/low-code tools or simple scripts; experience coordinating external developers
• Excellent communication skills, strong stakeholder management, growth mindset, and high sense of ownership
• Fluent German and English (minimum B2 level)
• Location: Germany-wide, Berlin-based preferred
