About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential clean-energy infrastructure client in France who is expanding their network of electric vehicle charging stations across the southern regions. As a Senior Expansion Manager, you will play a critical role in identifying strategic locations, negotiating real estate agreements, and driving the development of new charging sites from initial site selection through to operational launch.

This position is based in the Provence-Alpes-Côte-d'Azur region, covering Marseille, Toulon, Nice, and surrounding areas. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams including architecture, construction, branding, and data specialists to ensure successful project delivery.

Responsibilities

• Identify and evaluate potential sites for new fast-charging stations across southeastern France
• Conduct economic and legal analysis of prospective locations and prepare comprehensive development dossiers
• Build and maintain commercial relationships with diverse landowners, property developers, and real estate stakeholders
• Lead lease negotiations and finalize contractual agreements
• Coordinate project development from contract signature through station opening, working with internal teams
• Represent the organization at industry events and cultivate your professional network in the region
• Mentor junior team members and share best practices across the expansion team
• Travel regularly throughout the territory and to the Paris office for team coordination

What We're Looking For

• 6+ years of experience in real estate development or retail site expansion
• Based in southern France, ideally near Montpellier, Marseille, Toulon, or Nice
• Strong interest in and enthusiasm for the energy transition
• Proven ability to build lasting professional relationships and network effectively
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills with experience managing complex deals
• Comfortable with regular travel by car to visit rural sites and by train to Paris headquarters
• Working proficiency in English for collaboration with international colleagues
• Experience coaching and mentoring junior team members
• Valid driver's license required
• French language fluency required for stakeholder engagement
