Senior Producer

About This Opportunity

Our talent team is representing a confidential digital media organization that is expanding its video production capabilities. We're seeking a Senior Producer to lead end-to-end video creation—from concept development through post-production, publishing, and audience growth. This role will support original programming and editorial video formats across YouTube, social platforms, and digital channels.

You'll partner with editorial teams, video specialists, social media experts, and external production partners to transform compelling ideas into high-quality, visually engaging content. This is a hands-on position where you'll be equally comfortable developing treatments, directing shoots, editing finished pieces, managing timelines, and working with on-camera talent.

Responsibilities

• Produce video content from initial ideation through scripting, shooting, post-production, publishing, and promotion
• Develop pitches, treatments, scripts, shot lists, and run-of-show documents
• Collaborate with editorial and video leadership to create engaging, accurate video aligned with the organization's standards
• Lead or support field, studio, and remote-based productions
• Work effectively with journalists, executives, guests, and on-camera talent
• Coordinate across internal teams, freelancers, contractors, vendors, and production partners
• Create video optimized for YouTube and other digital platforms, focusing on audience retention and distribution strategy
• Leverage platform trends and performance data to inform creative decisions and grow video audiences
• Manage multiple concurrent projects, deadlines, and review processes in a fast-paced environment

What We're Looking For

• 5–7+ years of video production experience in journalism, digital media, broadcast, documentary, or branded content
• Proven track record producing, shooting, and editing professional video content with a strong portfolio or reel
• Excellent editorial judgment and visual storytelling abilities
• Experience producing for YouTube with understanding of audience development, search/discovery, and retention strategies
• Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite
• Experience working with on-camera talent
• Strong writing, communication, and project management skills
• Collaborative, entrepreneurial, solutions-oriented approach with comfort working across distributed teams
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a dynamic environment

Pay

The client has indicated a salary range of $90,000–$140,000 depending on location, experience, and skills. This is a remote-optional position available throughout the United States.
