Legal Consultant – Products (ECM / Structured Products) – Remote

About This Opportunity

Our talent team is representing a confidential fintech organization seeking a Legal Consultant to support their equity-linked and structured products portfolio. This is a remote role based in Singapore, offering the opportunity to work at the intersection of capital markets and emerging digital asset solutions.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary legal advisor for equities and structured products across their full lifecycle, from design through launch, enhancement, and exit
• Draft, review, and negotiate offering documents, product terms, brokerage agreements, platform agreements, and partner contracts
• Provide guidance on regulatory and compliance matters including financial promotions, market conduct, and licensing issues
• Coordinate with regulatory, compliance, and risk teams across multiple jurisdictions
• Partner with product, business, marketing, and operations stakeholders to structure new initiatives and manage legal risk
• Oversee external counsel relationships and contribute to internal guidance, training materials, and scalable legal processes

What We're Looking For

• 5-12+ years post-qualification experience in structured products, equity capital markets, derivatives, or broader capital markets practice
• Background from in-house legal teams or private practice
• Experience with global or US-underlying equity programs (such as depositary receipts, structured equity, IPOs, or program-level documentation) is advantageous
• Proven ability drafting and structuring complex capital markets and structured product documentation with minimal supervision
• Comfortable building terms and programs from the ground up
• Ability to work autonomously while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams
• Crypto, digital assets, or tokenization experience is a plus but not required
