About This Role

We are representing a confidential e-commerce marketing agency in Düsseldorf that specializes in email campaigns for online retailers. Our client manages campaigns for over 150 shops across the DACH region, sending millions of emails annually.

They are looking for a Copywriter for Email Campaigns & Layouts (m/w/d) who can own the entire newsletter process—from concept and copy to visual layout and delivery. This is a full-time, on-site position in Düsseldorf.

Responsibilities

• Write compelling email copy including subject lines, body text, and calls-to-action for sale announcements, new product categories, and promotional campaigns
• Build complete newsletter layouts using a Figma design system, adapting graphics and visual elements
• Manage 30–40 brands simultaneously, learning and maintaining each brand's unique tone of voice
• Work from daily briefs to deliver finished campaigns ready for client approval
• Use AI tools to optimize imagery and streamline content production
• Take full ownership of each newsletter from conception through to deployment
• Iterate based on performance data and client feedback

What We're Looking For

• Excellent German copywriting skills with a focus on conversion-driven text, not just aesthetics
• Strong visual sense and willingness to work with design tools (Figma experience is a plus but not required)
• Extremely fast learner who can master new tools in days
• High motivation and 100% commitment to on-site collaboration in Düsseldorf
• Comfortable working with AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, image generation)
• Ambitious self-starter who welcomes feedback and improves continuously
• Desire to own the entire deliverable, not just one piece of it
• Ability to manage multiple brands and campaigns simultaneously with speed and precision

No formal design training or prior newsletter experience required—the right attitude, eye for detail, and learning speed matter most.

Pay

Our client offers €3,500–6,000 per month, depending on experience. The goal for every hire is permanent employment after a successful probationary period.
