About This Opportunity
We are representing a confidential HR consulting organization based in Bessenbach, Germany. Our client specializes in payroll administration and HR services for multiple clients across various industries. They are seeking a Payroll Specialist (m/w/d) for a full-time or part-time position.
This role offers the opportunity to work in a growing organization with flat hierarchies, significant autonomy, and a collaborative environment located in the Aschaffenburg district.
Responsibilities
- Independently prepare and process payroll for a defined group of employees
- Maintain all personnel and master data within payroll systems
- Handle reporting and certification requirements
- Calculate and record one-time and special payments
- Communicate with health insurance providers and government agencies
- Submit statistical reports to external offices
- Create employee certificates and documentation
- Accurately record and maintain working hours, absences, and leave
- Review and process time data in accordance with collective agreements, legal requirements, and company policies
- Prepare evaluations and booking documents for monthly, quarterly, and annual closings
- Support tax audits and operational/economic audits
What We're Looking For
- Successfully completed commercial apprenticeship or degree in business administration
- Minimum 2 years of experience in payroll processing
- Knowledge of wage tax and social security law
- Current understanding of payroll-relevant legislative changes and their correct implementation
- Experience processing and evaluating special working time cases (on-call duty, overtime, Sunday/holiday/night work)
- Understanding of labor law requirements and their practical application
- Knowledge of A1 certificate application and processing
- Strong PC skills and comprehensive MS Office proficiency
- Excellent organizational abilities
- Strong service orientation
- Experience with LOGA payroll system is a plus
