About This Position

This Senior Product Manager role is centered on emerging artificial intelligence and next-generation technology initiatives within Workiva. You will own the entire product lifecycle for new and emerging solutions—from identifying market opportunities and validating customer needs through strategic planning, development execution, and successful launch. Working remotely from anywhere in the USA, you'll collaborate with engineering, design, data science, and business stakeholders to bring advanced technologies to market and establish product-market fit in the emerging AI space.

What You'll Do

• Define clear product strategy and vision for emerging AI and technology initiatives
• Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and customer discovery to identify product opportunities
• Develop comprehensive product roadmaps with phased milestones, success metrics, and resource requirements
• Partner with engineering, design, and data science leaders to guide feature prioritization and technical execution
• Gather customer feedback through interviews, usage analytics, and ongoing dialogue to inform product decisions
• Own product launch planning and execution, including go-to-market strategy and adoption metrics
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, and customer success to drive customer adoption and measure product impact
• Stay informed about emerging technologies and evaluate opportunities for competitive advantage

Qualifications

• 7+ years of product management experience with a strong track record in emerging or innovative product areas
• Demonstrated expertise with artificial intelligence, machine learning, advanced analytics, or related emerging technologies
• Proven ability to develop and execute comprehensive product strategy from concept through successful market launch
• Strong analytical mindset and experience making data-driven product decisions
• Excellent communication, presentation, and cross-functional collaboration skills
• Track record of successfully launching new products or significant features that achieved market adoption
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, business, or related field (or equivalent professional experience)
