Workday is hiring a Medium Enterprise Account Executive – Healthcare to drive revenue growth and build lasting client relationships across 8 locations. This is a full-time role based on-site, reporting to the Account Executive leadership team.

What This Role Involves

As a Medium Enterprise Account Executive in our Healthcare vertical, you'll own the full sales cycle for mid-market healthcare organizations seeking to modernize their human capital and financial management operations. You'll identify qualified prospects, conduct discovery conversations, build business cases around operational efficiency and compliance, and close deals that transform how healthcare systems work. This role combines strategic account planning with hands-on sales execution, requiring you to navigate complex buyer committees and articulate value across clinical, administrative, and financial stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Source and qualify new business opportunities within assigned healthcare accounts, managing pipeline from initial outreach through contract signature
  • Develop and execute account strategies that align Workday solutions with customer business priorities, especially around workforce management, payroll, and financial compliance in healthcare settings
  • Lead discovery and demos, positioning Workday's cloud platform and industry expertise to healthcare decision-makers and influencers
  • Collaborate with Solutions Consultants, Implementation Partners, and Customer Success to ensure smooth handoffs and customer outcomes
  • Meet and exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets for your territory
  • Build deep knowledge of healthcare regulatory requirements, operational pain points, and competitive landscape

What You Bring

  • 5+ years of enterprise software sales experience, preferably selling to mid-market or large organizations in healthcare or a similar complex, regulated industry
  • Proven track record closing deals in the $200K–$2M+ range within a consultative sales cycle
  • Deep understanding of healthcare business operations, compliance challenges, or industry trends
  • Strong executive presence and ability to communicate value to C-suite and board-level stakeholders
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Self-directed accountability for pipeline, forecasting, and results
