Working Student IT Strategy & Governance (all genders)

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential consumer technology client in Berlin seeking a Working Student in IT Strategy & Governance. Our talent team is looking for a motivated individual to support the IT leadership in driving sustainable growth through strategic IT initiatives, governance frameworks, and security standards.

This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in enterprise architecture, IT governance, and security compliance within an international organization. You'll work closely with senior IT professionals to shape technology standards and enable secure, scalable product delivery.

Responsibilities

IT Strategy & Architecture:

• Evaluate the organizational system landscape with regard to strategic fit
• Support strategic IT projects in areas such as master data management, licensing systems, and e-commerce platforms
• Maintain enterprise architecture documentation in LeanIX

IT Governance & Security:

• Pre-qualify new software requests and advise cross-functional stakeholders across IT, Data/AI, Procurement, and Legal
• Maintain the application portfolio including system ownership, CIA scoring, cost tracking, and usage metrics
• Optimize renewal processes by supporting the creation and updating of software license renewal plans
• Develop and iteratively improve IT security online training modules for employees
• Support ISO 27001, ITIL, and general compliance initiatives

What We're Looking For

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program in Business Informatics, Computer Science, Information Management, or a related field
• Strong interest in IT architecture, enterprise security, and governance standards
• Thoughtful approach to modern tools with a "Think First, AI Second" mindset
• Familiarity with common productivity suites such as Google Workspace or Microsoft 365
• Structured, reliable, and detail-oriented working style with willingness to take ownership of assigned tasks
• Strong communication skills and ability to work both independently and collaboratively
• Fluent German language skills required (English is a plus)
