About This Opportunity
We are representing a confidential digital solutions organization in München that is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead large-scale IT projects. Our client delivers technology solutions with societal impact, working across interdisciplinary teams to shape digital transformation initiatives.
This role offers the opportunity to manage complex projects from conception through delivery, utilizing both agile and classical methodologies in a diverse technological environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead large IT projects using agile, classical, or hybrid methodologies
- Translate client requirements into new and existing IT solutions and processes with interdisciplinary teams
- Serve as Product Owner in agile project setups
- Implement projects across diverse technologies including CMS, form management systems, low-code platforms, custom application development, workplace solutions, and cloud infrastructure
- Guide clients throughout project lifecycles on digital transformation questions
- Manage large interdisciplinary project teams and coordinate between various stakeholders
- Design and facilitate workshops with clients, developing strategies for efficient digital solution implementation
- Identify optimization opportunities in internal and external collaboration, develop targeted recommendations, and proactively shape change processes
- Advance methodology toolsets and provide guidance to project management colleagues
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in IT project management with demonstrated project leadership capabilities
- Proficiency in agile or classical project methodologies; certification preferred (PMI/PMP, PRINCE2, IPMA, Scrum PSPO/PSM, LeSS, or SAFe Agilist)
- Enthusiasm for delivering outstanding IT projects across websites, intranets, apps, digital application systems, or specialized applications
- Comfort with complex technical questions and client engagement, with intuition for client needs and business development opportunities
- Strong communication skills enabling you to operate confidently across all organizational levels and convey complex topics clearly to different audiences
- Completed university degree
- Excellent German and English language skills, written and spoken
