About This Position

This Logistics Assistant role is integral to WFP's supply chain operations in Bria. You will work within SC6 staff category, providing essential support to coordinate the movement, storage, and distribution of humanitarian commodities and equipment. In this on-site position, you'll help bridge logistics planning with on-the-ground execution, ensuring efficient resource flow to programme sites and beneficiary communities across the Central African Republic.

What You'll Do

• Assist with warehouse operations, inventory tracking, and commodity management systems
• Prepare shipping documents, manifests, delivery records, and supply chain reports
• Monitor stock levels, procurement progress, and transport status across WFP operations
• Coordinate with transport partners, storage facilities, and implementing organizations
• Support logistics data entry, record maintenance, and operational documentation
• Contribute to supply chain planning activities and performance tracking

Requirements

• Secondary education or equivalent; logistics, supply chain, or related training preferred
• Fluency in French and English; local language skills advantageous
• Competency with Microsoft Office and basic database systems
• Strong organizational abilities and accuracy in detail-oriented work
• Ability to function effectively in complex, resource-constrained environments
