About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential global information services organization seeking a Sales Development Representative based in South Korea. This role offers an exciting entry point into enterprise sales, working with academic and research communities.

Our client helps researchers, educators, and institutions advance knowledge through sophisticated content and analytics platforms. As an SDR, you'll be the first point of contact for prospective customers, building a pipeline of qualified opportunities for senior account executives.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct high-volume prospecting through phone, email, and LinkedIn to generate new business opportunities
  • Research assigned target accounts and reach out with relevant value propositions to qualify prospects
  • Coordinate with marketing teams to track, assess, and qualify leads across multiple channels
  • Partner with Solutions Account Executives to ensure accurate documentation of all pre-sales information
  • Schedule qualified demonstrations and meetings, building a robust pipeline of business opportunities
  • Navigate organizational structures to identify key decision makers and influencers within target accounts
  • Maintain detailed records of all prospect interactions and pipeline activity

What We're Looking For

  • Language: Fluency in both English and Korean (written and verbal)
  • Skills: Excellent communication and presentation abilities, with the capacity to explain complex concepts to diverse audiences
  • Mindset: Self-starter with strong time management and organizational capabilities
  • Track record: Demonstrated work ethic and history of exceeding goals
  • Problem-solving: Ability to identify and address complex issues related to sales and business development
  • Tools: Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and LinkedIn
  • Career focus: Genuine interest in building a sales career with opportunities for development
  • Bonus: Sales, customer-facing, lead generation, or scientific research experience (not required)
