Associate Project Manager – Healthcare Advertising

We are representing a confidential healthcare communications organization in their search for an Associate Project Manager. Our client supports the advancement of medical innovations and scientific communication, helping breakthrough treatments reach patients who need them most. This role sits at the center of agency operations, connecting teams, timelines, and deliverables to ensure exceptional client outcomes.

As Associate Project Manager, you'll partner with senior project leaders to manage healthcare advertising campaigns from planning through execution. This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their project management career to build foundational skills in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Managers with basic project planning and execution across healthcare advertising campaigns
• Schedule and attend internal meetings including kickoffs, reviews, and status updates; document action items and next steps
• Maintain project workflows by reviewing action orders, leading online routing, and ensuring quality at each approval stage
• Update and maintain daily project tracking systems
• Communicate proactively across departments via email, phone, and messaging to keep projects on schedule
• Monitor delivery dates and provide alternative solutions when challenges arise
• Learn client expectations, rules of engagement, and develop skills in building actionable project plans
• Advocate for team members while upholding process and accountability standards

What We're Looking For

Required:

• Bachelor's degree
• Proficiency in MS Office applications
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed, including overnight stays
• Proactive, positive communication style
• Strong time-management and multitasking abilities
• Detail-oriented approach to work
• Eagerness to learn project management in an agency setting

Preferred:

• 0-2 years of experience in project management or coordinator roles
