Remote Mental Health Therapist – Texas

About This Opportunity

Our talent team is representing a confidential educational technology organization that has been supporting student mental health services for over two decades. We are seeking licensed mental health therapists in Texas to provide virtual counseling services to K-12 students through a school-funded teletherapy platform.

This is a 100% remote independent contractor position with complete scheduling flexibility. You'll work directly with students to support their mental health and well-being without the administrative burden of insurance billing.

Responsibilities

• Conduct weekly 45-minute virtual therapy sessions with assigned K-12 students
• Support students in improving their overall mental health and well-being
• Maintain clinical documentation and administrative tasks (approximately 10% of workload)
• Participate in supervision or consultation as required by licensure level

What We're Looking For

Required:

• Active independent license OR supervised associate license in Texas to provide mental health counseling (LPC, LMFT, LCSW, or similar)
• Experience working with children and adolescents in the K-12 age range
• Comfort navigating technology platforms including telehealth systems
• Reliable computer and high-speed internet connection
• Professional liability and bodily injury insurance coverage (must list our client as additional insured)

Preferred:

• 2+ years of clinical counseling experience
• Bilingual capabilities (Spanish)
• Dual-state licensure
