Head of Product | Customer Journey

About This Opportunity

We are representing a fast-growing B2B energy technology company based in Berlin that is transforming how industrial companies manage their electricity procurement and consumption. Our client operates an integrated platform serving commercial and industrial customers across German-speaking markets, with ambitious expansion plans underway.

This is a leadership role reporting directly to the CEO. You will own product vision, strategy, and execution across the entire customer-facing journey, working closely with the CTO and COO as part of the executive leadership team. The position is based in Berlin with an office-first work model.

Responsibilities

• Define and own the product vision and roadmap for customer-facing products across procurement, management, and optimization workflows
• Lead a team of 6 Product Managers and Designers embedded in cross-functional engineering teams
• Drive value delivery at scale across multiple products and geographies, with accountability to key business metrics
• Transform market dynamics and customer pain points into a clear, prioritized product strategy that compounds value
• Partner with Engineering, Design, Go-to-Market, and Operations teams to align execution with company objectives
• Set the bar for execution quality and speed, ensuring teams ship regularly with focus on outcomes over output
• Shape quarterly roadmaps and OKR plans, establishing rhythm and cadence for product delivery
• Build and lead high-performing product teams in a fast-paced scale-up environment
• Leverage AI and emerging technologies to reinvent product development processes and customer workflows

What We're Looking For

• Proven track record as a Product Leader (Staff, Head of, VP level) at a fast-paced scale-up, shipping products that drive measurable business results
• Deep expertise building B2B software products, ideally with experience serving commercial and industrial customer segments
• Strong command of software product dynamics including activation, retention, pricing, and upsell across the full customer lifecycle
• Demonstrated ability to deliver in high-paced environments with clear target achievement and comfort operating in ambiguity
• Experience creating product vision that aligns cross-functional teams and communicating strategy with clarity and conviction
• Track record leading teams that deliver value at scale across multiple products, teams, and markets
• Fluent German language skills required for this position (primary customer segment is German Mittelstand)
• Enthusiasm for leveraging AI and modern technology to drive competitive advantage in product development and operations
• Energy market expertise is beneficial but not required
