Responsibilities

We are representing a specialized fire protection organization in Germany seeking a Technical Sales Professional for Water-Based Fire Suppression Systems. In this role, you will serve as both technical advisor and commercial lead for sophisticated industrial, logistics, and commercial projects.

Your core responsibilities include:

• Review, evaluate, and calculate incoming inquiries and specifications for water-based fire suppression systems
• Prepare detailed cost estimates and technical proposals, then follow up systematically
• Conduct independent price negotiations within agreed parameters
• Advise customers and planning consultants via phone and on-site visits to capture project requirements
• Assess component, material, and installation costs with precision
• Coordinate closely with project management and installation teams on technical feasibility and resource planning
• Manage the entire sales cycle from initial inquiry through confirmed order

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate brings a strong blend of technical depth and commercial acumen:

• Completed technical or commercial apprenticeship, ideally supplemented by Techniker/Meister qualification or technical degree (e.g., building services, HVAC, facility engineering)
• Solid professional experience in cost estimation or technical sales, preferably within stationary fire protection systems such as sprinkler installations, building services, or plant engineering
• Confident use of MS Office and standard cost-calculation software
• Knowledge of relevant standards and codes (VdS, FM, DIN/EN) is advantageous
• German language proficiency at C1 level minimum; English skills are a plus
• Valid Class B driver's license and willingness to travel for customer meetings
• Strong affinity for numbers, technical understanding, and business judgment

You will focus on warm leads and technical specifications—no cold calling required. This position offers substantial autonomy, mobile working flexibility, and minimum one day per week at a regional office near Gladbeck.

Pay

This is a permanent, full-time position based in the Gladbeck area. Our client offers an annual target compensation of €60,000 to €90,000, plus company car for private use, corporate health insurance, fitness allowance, and bike leasing.
