Responsibilities

We are representing a leading data and AI platform provider in their search for a Lead Solutions Architect based in Munich. In this role, you will own the most complex enterprise relationships in the region, both technically and commercially.

  • Lead and manage complex enterprise accounts with custom requirements, guiding clients from initial technical conversations through to production deployment
  • Deliver compelling demonstrations and technical presentations to budget holders and C-level stakeholders
  • Build working prototypes rapidly, leveraging AI-assisted development tools to create demonstrations in hours rather than weeks
  • Mentor and develop Solutions Architects and Senior SAs in collaboration with field engineering leadership
  • Build the organization's technical presence in the DACH market through customer-facing materials, workshops, meetups, and conference presentations
  • Develop and implement best practices and repeatable processes across the region
  • Establish strong working relationships with internal subject matter experts, product teams, and leadership

What we're looking for

  • Fluent German and business-level English - both languages are used daily with customers and internal teams
  • Substantial experience in technical pre-sales, including managing complex customer interactions across the complete sales lifecycle
  • Proven ability to drive technical and business conversations with C-level executives, orchestrate cross-functional teams, and influence outcomes toward long-term customer success
  • Strong track record in the data landscape with deep expertise in at least one of: data engineering or data science
  • Hands-on coding proficiency in Python and SQL
  • Daily, fluent use of AI tools in your work - coding assistants and AI agents should be integral to how you operate
  • Ability to rapidly assemble credible, working prototypes for specific customer problems using AI assistance, with the judgment to recognize where human expertise is required
  • Hands-on experience running complex proofs of concept on at least one major public cloud platform
  • Strong judgment to prioritize the right use cases and investments while navigating a competitive landscape
