About This Opportunity
We are representing a confidential financial services organization in Switzerland that is expanding its technical team. Our talent acquisition team at Get A Job.ai is seeking experienced Avaloq Developers to support critical system implementation and enhancement projects. This is a remote contract position with strong potential for extension.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement software changes within the Avaloq platform through parameterization and configuration
- Translate business requirements into technical designs and deliver quality implementations
- Perform comprehensive unit testing and ensure software quality standards are met
- Collaborate directly with business users and technical stakeholders to define project goals and map processes
- Provide technical solutions that align with business objectives and regulatory requirements
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and participate in team knowledge sharing
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in Avaloq development and parameterization
- Strong proficiency with Oracle databases and PL/SQL
- Demonstrated experience in requirements engineering and solution design
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Knowledge of wealth management or investment banking products is advantageous
- Avaloq Certification (ACCP) is a plus
- Additional software development or programming experience beyond Avaloq is beneficial
