Forward Deployed Engineer – London (Spanish-speaking)

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential AI technology organization seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to join their London team. This role requires professional fluency in both Spanish and English, as you'll be supporting Spanish-speaking customer deployments across Europe and beyond.

Our client operates at the cutting edge of artificial intelligence, partnering with strategic customers to turn advanced research into production systems. As a Forward Deployed Engineer, you'll lead complex end-to-end implementations of frontier AI models, working directly with customer engineering teams to deliver measurable business impact.

This is a hybrid position based in London (3 days per week in office), with travel up to 50% required. Relocation assistance is available for qualified candidates.

Responsibilities

• Own technical delivery across multiple customer deployments from initial prototype through stable production rollout
• Build full-stack systems that integrate advanced AI models into customer workflows and drive measurable adoption
• Embed directly with customer teams to understand their needs, guide implementation, and ensure successful outcomes
• Scope technical work, sequence delivery milestones, and proactively remove blockers to maintain momentum
• Make strategic trade-offs between scope, speed, and quality while protecting delivery timelines
• Contribute hands-on code when progress or technical clarity requires direct involvement
• Create reusable tools, playbooks, and frameworks that accelerate future deployments
• Channel field feedback to product and research teams to inform model improvements and roadmap priorities
• Maintain clear communication and alignment across engineering, product, partnerships, security, and go-to-market teams

What We're Looking For

• Professional fluency in both Spanish and English is required for this role
• 6+ years of engineering or technical deployment experience that includes customer-facing delivery work
• Proven track record scoping and delivering complex systems in fast-moving or ambiguous environments
• Strong coding skills with production-grade experience across frontend and backend (Python, JavaScript, or comparable stack)
• Hands-on experience building or deploying systems powered by large language models or generative AI, with deep understanding of how model behavior impacts product experience
• Ability to simplify complexity and make sound technical decisions under pressure
• Excellent communication skills with engineers, product teams, and customer stakeholders at all levels
• Strong risk identification and mitigation capabilities without sacrificing delivery velocity
• Calm judgment and leadership presence when stakes are high
