About This Opportunity
Our talent team is representing a confidential AI research organization seeking an Audio Engineer with native Urdu language skills for a fully remote contract engagement. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge machine learning projects while working from anywhere in India.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate AI-generated music across multiple genres for musicality, creativity, and production quality
- Perform head-to-head comparisons of audio output, assessing prompt adherence, vocal quality, and technical characteristics
- Label and categorize musical content by genre, structure, instrumentation, and vocal elements
- Review AI-generated lyrics and vocal performances for quality and accuracy against reference materials
- Work independently in an asynchronous environment to meet project deadlines and support model improvement
What We're Looking For
Required:
- Native or near-native proficiency in Urdu
- Strong ability to follow detailed written instructions in English
- 2+ years of professional experience as a music producer, audio engineer, or mixing engineer
- Professional-grade headphones or studio monitors suitable for critical listening and evaluation work
Preferred:
- Formal training in music performance, theory, or composition
- Credited or commercially released production, engineering, or mixing work
- Broad familiarity with contemporary Urdu music genres, sub-genres, and artists
Engagement Details:
- Contract duration: up to 6 months
- Commitment: 20+ hours per week
- Fully remote from India
- Immediate start date available
