Investment Banking Associate – Remote Analyst

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential AI research organization seeking an experienced investment banking professional for a remote contract engagement. Our client is building advanced systems and needs domain experts to evaluate financial modeling accuracy and strengthen AI training processes.

This is a flexible, remote contract role based in Germany with a minimum four-week commitment and 10+ hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate the accuracy and depth of financial models to strengthen reasoning and rigor in model outputs
• Review complex investment banking content for alignment with domain principles and methodologies
• Provide clear, structured feedback to research teams to improve training data quality and downstream performance
• Develop evaluation rubrics and benchmarks for assessing AI-generated financial tasks and solutions
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure consistency, relevance, and coverage across datasets
• Work independently and asynchronously to meet deadlines while improving model performance

What We're Looking For

• At least 2 years of experience in investment banking at top-tier firms
• Demonstrated expertise in financial modeling, pitch deck development, investment analysis summaries and memos, or company and industry analysis
• Ability to work independently on a contract basis with flexible weekly hours
• Strong written communication skills for providing structured feedback
• Experience evaluating complex financial content for accuracy and methodology

Compensation
