Operational Risk Analyst

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential healthcare organization seeking an Operational Risk Analyst to join their enterprise operations team. This remote position offers the opportunity to work with a well-established organization focused on improving healthcare access and outcomes.

In this role, you'll support the identification, assessment, and monitoring of operational risks across business operations services. You'll apply risk management principles, perform data analysis, and contribute to reporting activities that strengthen operational effectiveness and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Support identification and assessment of operational, regulatory, compliance, and initiative-level risks
• Analyze data to identify risk trends, control gaps, and emerging risk indicators
• Document risks, mitigation strategies, and remediation action plans
• Partner with business owners and project teams to gather risk-related information and support control assessments
• Assist in implementing and maintaining risk management processes and internal controls
• Prepare routine risk reports, dashboards, and metrics using established frameworks
• Ensure compliance with organizational policies and standards

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business management, or equivalent experience required
• 2+ years of experience in business process analysis, risk identification, control implementation, or data analysis
• Healthcare industry experience strongly preferred
• Strong understanding of risks and controls frameworks
• Healthcare claims experience preferred
• Analytical mindset with ability to identify trends and patterns in data
• Strong documentation and communication skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
