Facilities Maintenance Technician

RB is hiring a Facilities Maintenance Technician in Kansas City, MO. In this full-time position, you'll play a vital role in keeping our facility operations running smoothly by handling maintenance, repairs, and preventive upkeep across all building systems.

What This Role Involves

As a Facilities Maintenance Technician at RB, you'll be responsible for the day-to-day maintenance and repair of building infrastructure, mechanical systems, and grounds. This is hands-on work that requires strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and quality. You'll respond to maintenance requests, troubleshoot issues, and ensure our facilities remain in excellent working condition for all occupants.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and inspections on HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and other building systems
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and service calls from staff
• Conduct preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and extend equipment life
• Repair or replace components as needed, following safety protocols and best practices
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance work completed
• Monitor facility grounds and address landscaping or exterior maintenance needs
• Coordinate with contractors and vendors when specialized repairs are required

Who We're Looking For

• Proven experience as a facilities maintenance technician or similar hands-on maintenance role
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, or equipment repair
• Ability to diagnose problems, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions independently
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Physical ability to perform demanding tasks, including lifting, climbing, and working at heights
• Excellent time management and ability to prioritize multiple tasks
• Strong commitment to safety standards and workplace protocols
