R1rcm is hiring a Supervisor, Patient Registration for our Pensacola, FL facility serving Ascension Sacred Heart Pensacola. This is a full-time, onsite overnight position where you'll lead patient intake operations and ensure accurate registration during critical night shifts.

Position Summary

As Supervisor of Patient Registration, you'll oversee the overnight patient check-in process at Ascension Sacred Heart Pensacola, managing both the team and the systems that capture patient information as they arrive for care. This role combines hands-on leadership with operational expertise in patient intake, registration, and revenue cycle processes. You'll ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficiency when patient registration activities are at their most critical—during overnight and emergency hours.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the patient registration team during overnight shifts, setting expectations and supporting staff performance
• Oversee patient check-in workflows to ensure complete, accurate capture of demographics, insurance, and medical history
• Monitor registration systems and resolve data quality issues that impact billing and patient records
• Maintain compliance with healthcare regulations, privacy requirements, and facility protocols during night operations
• Train and mentor registration staff on best practices, system navigation, and customer service during patient intake
• Identify process improvements and communicate operational challenges to management
• Respond to patient inquiries and complex registration situations with professionalism and problem-solving

Qualifications

• Proven supervisory or team lead experience in healthcare registration, admissions, or related patient-facing roles
• Strong working knowledge of patient registration systems and healthcare billing processes
• Ability to work overnight shifts and maintain focus during high-volume periods
• Excellent communication skills and demonstrated ability to lead diverse teams
• Familiarity with HIPAA compliance and healthcare data privacy requirements
