Digital Designer

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential retail organization in Australia with a significant national presence and a rapidly expanding eCommerce operation. Our client is seeking a Digital Designer to join their collaborative digital team and support high-volume digital production workflows serving a large, diverse customer base.

This is a permanent, full-time work-from-home position based in the Philippines, working during Australian Eastern Standard Time business hours.

Responsibilities

As Digital Designer, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining digital assets that drive eCommerce and marketing initiatives:

• Create and update digital marketing artwork and eCommerce product images that align with established brand standards
• Translate creative briefs into accurate visual assets, applying sound design judgment to scaling, visual hierarchy, form, and layout consistency
• Maintain high design standards to ensure accuracy and minimize rework across all deliverables
• Upload and maintain digital assets within Content Management Systems and Digital Asset Management platforms
• Collaborate closely with marketing and product teams to streamline production workflows and ensure efficient asset delivery
• Leverage approved AI tools to support asset production while maintaining appropriate human oversight and quality control
• Identify and implement continuous improvements to enhance digital workflow efficiency and output quality

What We're Looking For

Required qualifications:

• MacBook with minimum 16GB RAM and 512GB SSD
• Demonstrated experience in digital design, graphic design, or digital asset production
• Portfolio showcasing strong visual design fundamentals, layout skills, and meticulous attention to detail
• Advanced proficiency in professional design software
• Intermediate to advanced experience working with Content Management Systems
• Practical experience or strong capability using Digital Asset Management systems

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience in retail, eCommerce, or fast-paced digital marketing environments
• Experience managing high-volume, repeatable digital design tasks
• Relevant tertiary qualifications in graphic design or digital media
• Familiarity using AI-assisted tools within professional design workflows
• Experience with design and communication tools such as Figma, Adobe Photoshop, Slack, and Microsoft Teams
