About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential adtech client in Hamburg who is looking for an experienced Product Manager to lead programmatic advertising exchange capabilities. Our talent team at Get A Job.ai is conducting the search for this high-impact role within a fast-growing mobile advertising technology platform.

Responsibilities

  • Lead product strategy and roadmap for programmatic ad exchange features across the full product lifecycle
  • Work directly with engineering teams to design and optimize real-time bidding systems processing high-volume auction traffic
  • Define and monitor core performance metrics including fill rate, bid rate, CPM, eCPM, win rates, and timeout rates
  • Manage technical onboarding and integration with external demand-side platform partners, ensuring OpenRTB compliance
  • Design traffic shaping and routing logic to optimize infrastructure costs while maximizing revenue performance
  • Partner with data teams to analyze complex datasets, troubleshoot technical issues, and measure feature performance
  • Create detailed Product Requirements Documents that translate business needs and partner feedback into technical specifications
  • Own end-to-end agile delivery of features in a high-throughput, low-latency environment
  • Bridge communication between engineering, partnerships, and external stakeholders on technical implementation

What We're Looking For

  • 3–4 years of Product Management experience with at least 3 years directly in Programmatic, Ad Exchange, SSP, or DSP environments
  • Deep programmatic domain expertise: OpenRTB specifications, auction mechanics, mobile ad formats (video, playable, native, display)
  • Technical fluency with system architecture, API design, JSON data structures, and latency optimization
  • Strong analytical skills to optimize auction performance metrics and Supply Path Optimization (SPO)
  • Experience working with high-scale distributed systems and microservices architectures
  • Proven track record of shipping products in agile, fast-paced environments with multiple stakeholder dependencies
  • Data-driven approach to product decisions with comfort analyzing complex technical datasets
  • Excellent communication skills to translate technical requirements between engineering and business teams
  • Experience managing technical partnerships and external integrations
