Our talent team at Get A Job.ai is representing a confidential electric vehicle infrastructure organization seeking a Solutions Engineer for a remote position based in the UK. This is an exciting opportunity to join a leader in the rapidly growing EV charging sector, working at the intersection of clean energy, fleet operations, and cutting-edge technology.

In this role, you will serve as the technical expert throughout the pre-sales process, working directly with customers across Europe to design and recommend electric vehicle charging solutions. You will conduct technical evaluations, perform site assessments, develop architecture recommendations, and respond to RFPs and tenders. Your focus will span light, medium, and heavy-duty fleet electrification, including charging infrastructure, energy management, and battery storage solutions.

Travel requirement: up to 50% across Europe, predominantly within the UK and Ireland.

Responsibilities

• Lead all technical aspects of pre-sale customer engagement, including technology evaluations and product demonstrations
• Conduct engineering site assessments and develop deployment recommendations for EV charging infrastructure
• Act as technical consultant to understand customer needs and architect appropriate solutions
• Develop and deliver presentations to partners and customers throughout the sales process
• Respond to functional and technical elements of RFPs and tenders; assist in developing statements of work
• Provide engineering recommendations for software features, API implementations, and third-party integrations
• Maintain expertise in fleet vehicle operations, charging capabilities, dwell time, routing, scheduling, and energy management
• Stay current on electrical installation codes and standards related to EV supply equipment
• Identify and proactively resolve technical issues that may impact customer satisfaction
• Collaborate with product management to align development with customer and market needs

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, or equivalent field
• Minimum 8 years of combined experience in technical sales or technical consulting
• Background should include expertise in areas such as electrical engineering, telecommunications, information technology, software development, or technical writing
• Deep understanding of electric vehicle and fleet electrification trends and integration strategies
• Knowledge of local electrical codes and standards relevant to EV charging infrastructure
• Excellent presentation, oral, and written communication skills
• Strong customer-facing abilities and relationship building skills
• Self-motivated critical thinker with excellent time management capabilities
• Experience with fleet vehicle operations, high power solutions, battery energy storage, or large facility projects highly desired
