About This Opportunity
We are representing a well-funded Berlin-based startup in the data infrastructure space. Our client is building cutting-edge products that serve developers worldwide, backed by prominent Silicon Valley investors and industry leaders. As one of their first frontend engineers, you'll have the opportunity to shape the technical foundation of their platform and work on challenging problems at the intersection of data engineering and modern web applications.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement web applications from the ground up as a founding team member
- Collaborate closely with backend engineers and technical leadership to deliver seamless user experiences
- Build developer-focused interfaces that will be used by engineering teams globally
- Establish frontend architecture patterns and best practices for a growing engineering organization
- Contribute to product direction and technical decision-making as an early team member
What We're Looking For
- Fluency in TypeScript and modern frontend frameworks such as React or similar technologies
- Experience with public or private cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
- Hands-on experience with DevOps tools and practices including Kubernetes, Docker, and GitHub Actions
- Previous work in fast-growing environments or early-stage startup settings
- Strong ownership mindset and ability to thrive with autonomy
- Based in or willing to relocate to Berlin, Germany
