About This Opportunity
We are representing a confidential digital media organization in Berlin seeking a working student to support their education-focused editorial team. This role offers hands-on experience in professional journalism and content production within a dynamic publishing environment.
Responsibilities
- Research relevant topics and journalistic content for editorial coverage
- Support editing and publishing of texts in coordination with editors on production days (Tuesday and Thursday)
- Assist with SEO optimization and content tagging
- Help organize and coordinate editorial processes on production days
- Participate in editorial planning meetings as needed
- Write original articles in consultation with the editorial team when appropriate
What We're Looking For
- Currently enrolled in a relevant degree program (Education Sciences, Media Studies, Communications, Journalism, or related field)
- Structured and reliable working approach with strong process understanding
- Previous journalistic experience or editorial/production background is advantageous
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to quickly identify language errors
- Strong organizational skills and ability to maintain overview in a dynamic environment
- Team player with strong communication skills and independent, careful working style
- Availability on Tuesdays and Thursdays for approximately 16 hours per week total
- German language proficiency required for this editorial role
