Senior Product Manager, Catalog

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential ticketing platform in their search for a Senior Product Manager to own their Catalog function. This is the foundational data layer that defines every event, seat, venue map, and attribute across the platform. When catalog data is accurate and complete, the entire fan experience works seamlessly. When it isn't, issues cascade throughout the system.

In this high-leverage role, you'll build the most accurate and comprehensive representation of live events in the industry—from getting new onsales live immediately to modeling complex venues seat-by-seat to capturing the features that help fans find the perfect spot.

Responsibilities

• Own the vision and strategy for the catalog product, defining how to build the most accurate, complete, and fresh representation of live events in the industry
• Improve catalog coverage and freshness: accelerate new event launches, close inventory gaps, and reduce errors that impact fan trust and conversion
• Combine user research, data analysis, and domain expertise to identify where enriched catalog data can transform the fan experience and unblock operational workflows
• Partner with operations and marketplace teams to design tooling and processes that enable catalog data management at scale
• Work with analytics to define catalog health metrics—coverage, freshness, accuracy, match rate—and build monitoring dashboards to maintain accountability
• Serve as the internal advocate for catalog work, collaborating with product managers across shopping and post-purchase experiences on dependencies and opportunities
• Explore how AI, machine learning, and emerging technologies can automate ingestion, improve matching, and enrich event data
• Mentor junior product team members and contribute to product team culture and best practices

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of product management experience with a proven track record shipping impactful products at scale, ideally in marketplace, platform, or data-intensive environments
• Experience owning foundational data, catalog, or platform products where accuracy, completeness, and freshness are critical—and where downstream teams depend on your work
• Ability to operate in complex, ambiguous problem spaces and design systems that make messy domains structured, scalable, and trustworthy
• Strong data fluency: comfortable defining quality metrics, analyzing data, and partnering with analysts to make evidence-based decisions
• Experience collaborating with operations teams and designing internal tooling or workflows—understanding that great data requires both product and process excellence
• Customer empathy and product taste, even when the customer is an internal operator or downstream team
• Excellent communication and storytelling skills, with proficiency in modern prototyping tools like Claude, Figma, Make, Loveable, or similar
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams toward ambitious goals with urgency and clarity
• Demonstrated curiosity about new technologies and their applications to user problems
• Ideally, experience with products leveraging machine learning or AI for data ingestion, entity matching, or content enrichment at scale
• Ideally, experience with marketplace or ticketing products, or domains where a high-quality catalog or knowledge graph is a competitive advantage
• Ability to work East Coast hours (10am-5pm ET) with occasional early starts around 9am ET
