Working Student Marketing and Communications (m/f/x)

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential logistics technology company that is transforming how freight moves across Europe. Our client is seeking a Working Student in Marketing and Communications to join their dynamic team in Frankfurt am Main.

This is a hands-on role within a small, fast-moving marketing team where you'll take ownership of real projects that go live. You'll work across B2B marketing activities including social media, event coordination, content creation, and industry research. If you enjoy variety, learning by doing, and seeing the direct impact of your work, this role offers excellent exposure to professional marketing in a growth-stage environment.

This is a working student position based at the House of Logistics & Mobility (HOLM) in Frankfurt, with hybrid flexibility.

Responsibilities

• Support content creation for LinkedIn including copywriting, visuals, and short animated videos
• Help organize the company's presence at industry fairs and internal/external events
• Design branding and marketing materials that maintain brand consistency
• Research trends, competitors, and developments in the rail and logistics industry
• Support monthly newsletter production and CRM activities (HubSpot experience welcomed)
• Assist with PR and external communications initiatives
• Collaborate across the team and contribute your own ideas to campaigns

What We're Looking For

• Currently enrolled in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field
• Genuine curiosity about rail freight, logistics, or the transportation industry (no prior industry knowledge required)
• Strong initiative and enjoy developing campaign concepts rather than waiting for instructions
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while staying organized
• Confident written and spoken communication in both German and English
• Comfortable with social media platforms and digital tools; solid Microsoft Office skills
• Ideally familiar with tools like Canva, Vimeo, Jira, and Confluence
• Experience with AI tools and prompting (e.g., Claude) is a plus
• HubSpot familiarity is welcome but not required
• Proactive team player who takes responsibility and enjoys collaborative work
• First-hand experience in marketing, communications, or PR is beneficial but attitude and curiosity matter more
